Electrochemical Energy Storage and Conversion Laboratory is a growing interdisciplinary research group dedicated to developing next-generation energy technologies, including fuel cells, electrolyzers, redox flow batteries, and conventional batteries. Our research focuses on understanding the fundamental mechanisms governing electrochemical reactions and transport phenomena, with the ultimate goal of advancing the performance of electrochemical energy devices toward their theoretical limits.nnTo achieve this goal, we integrate experimental investigations, numerical modeling, and theoretical analysis to explore the complex interactions between electrochemical reactions and transport processes. Our research team brings together expertise in heat and mass transfer, fluid dynamics, and applied mathematics, particularly in the optimization of structures for electrochemical energy devices to minimize energy losses and enhance overall performance. In addition, our capabilities extend to the design, fabrication, and development of fuel cells, electrolyzers, redox flow batteries, and conventional batteries.
